Blackhawk Films was a company that restored and reprinted shorts and films on 8mm, Super 8, and 16mm filmstock for home viewing,
primarily titles from the silent film era. The company was active from the 1950s through the 1980s, and they eventually incorporated
magnetic media into their catalog. The company ceased operations in 1987.
