    Scope and Contents

    This collection contains thirteen correspondence written to Myrtle Tracy from three soldiers during the Second World War: eight from James B. Carter, one from Ben H. Julian and four from Robert Niklaus. This collection also contains sheets of supplementary military information on James B. Carter and Robert Niklaus.
    Of particular interest are James B. Carter's letters discussing Myrtle's desire to marry before Carter left for the war.
    Also of interest are Christmas and New Year's cards, sent through V-mail, by Robert Niklaus to Myrtle Tracy.
