Biography

Norman Zenos McLeod was an American director, active from 1928 to 1959. Among his best-known features are MONKEY BUSINESS (1931), HORSE FEATHERS (1932), PENNIES FROM HEAVEN (1936), TOPPER (1937), THE SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY (1947), and ALIAS JESSE JAMES (1959). In the late 1950s McLeod directed some episodic television.
