Dr. Pedro Chan's collection of early railroading and transcontinental railroad material includes Harper's Weekly vintage prints, drawings, photographs, tickets and financial records.
Dr. Pedro Chan collects through E-Bay for the purpose of donating to institutions in the United States and China. His primary collecting focus is World War II Flying Tigers, a group of P 40 fighter planes painted to look like Japanese man-eating beasts and flown by Chinese pilots. Dr. Chan also collects items that illustrate the role of Chinese immigration on building the Transcontinental Railroad.
