Oil tanker ELMER R. PETERSON underway. The collection has been processed to the Collection level and is open for use.
Contains 1 color photographic print, 5 x 7 in., inside a 9 x 7 in. presentation folder of ELMER R. PETERSON (built 1964; tanker)
underway, starboard bow view, at an unidentified location possibly between the Persian Gulf and San Francisco, California,
1964. "S.S. Elmer R. Peterson" is printed on the front of the folder. The text inside the folder reads, "Commemorating the
maiden voyage of the S.S. Elmer R. Peterson Persian Gulf to San Francisco March 25, 1964 - April 22, 1964." The folder has
been signed in blue ink by Elmer R. Peterson (a Standard Oil Company director) and two other people.
