and repairing activities at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company, and other shipyards.
The collection has been processed to the Collection level and is open for use.

housed in an envelope from the Executive Office of the President, Office for Emergency Management, War Manpower Commission,
in San Francisco.

The U.S. Navy photographs of shipyard activities, 1942-1944, (SAFR 24262, P99-030) are comprised mainly of U.S. Navy shipbuilding
and repairing activities at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company, and other shipyards.
The collection has been processed to the Collection level and is open for use.
Contains official U.S. Navy photographs of shipyard employees constructing and repairing naval vessels, 1942-1944. There are
16 unique photographic images (black-and-white photographic prints, 8 x 10 in.). Some of the shipyards are identified as Brooklyn
Navy Yard, Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, and Electric Boat Company, with additional
photographs at a naval base in the Aleutian Islands.
