Biographical / Historical

Geoffrey L. St. Andrews (1941-2016) became a fan of Olympic champion and actor Johnny Weissmuller (1904-1984), when he saw Weissmuller in Tarzan movies as a child in Canada. St. Andrews later became a collector and researcher of Weissmuller and hosted a website about Weissmuller from the early 2000s until his death in 2016.

Scope and Contents

This collection chiefly contains film stills from Tarzan movies starring Johnny Weissmuller, which were compiled by Weissmuller fan and researcher Geoff St. Andrews (1941-2016). Includes both contemporary stills as well as later reproductions. Most of the stills are held in 3-ring binders by film title, though some have been removed to folders for preservation purposes. Some film binders also have accompanying folders of loose stills that were received as addenda. In addition to the stills, there are two London publicity publications for "Valley of Head Hunters" and "Jungle Moon Men."
