Abstract: This collection contains records created by the Sonoma County (Calif.) Assessor's Office. Records include documents pertaining to road and property taxes; land assessments, including geothermal issues. records include: Assessment book of the property of Petaluma road district for the year 1874-75. Record of delinquent taxpayers and sales of property for delinquent taxes for 1874-75. Records necessary to value geothermal rights. Includes geological, historical, and valuation information, appraisal and appeal documents, correspondence, etc. File of current and historical data for rural, residential and commercial properties.
