Biographical / Historical
Anne S. Miner, a professor emeritus known for her research on management and organizational
learning, worked at Stanford University in the 1970s as a consultant to the president on
affirmative action for women and as the university's affirmative action officer. She is
recognized for her work in designing and implementing the hiring policies and practices
related to under-represented minorities.
