Scope and Content

The collection consists of American television series scripts dating mostly from ca.1960s to the early 2000s and documents a wide variety of television genres such as comedy, action adventure, detective shows, science fiction, and westerns. The scripts also represent television series aired by various commercial and cable television networks and include shows such as The Beverly Hillbillies, The Big Valley , Dallas , Days of Our Lives , Dinah Shore Chevy Show , ER , Friends , The Fugitive , Hee Haw , In Living Color , Julia , M*A*S*H , Mod Squad , Murphy Brown , The Real McCoys , Smallville , 77 Sunset Strip , Third Watch , The Waltons , and West Wing , to name only a few. A small portion of the scripts are annotated.

The Collection of Television Series Scripts is an archival collection originally assembled by the UCLA Theatre Arts Library.
