    Biography

    Loren L. Ryder was a sound technician at Paramount from 1929 to 1956. He served as the head of Paramount's sound department and director of recording, and later was in charge of Special Engineering Projects. He was the founder of Ryder 16mm Services, later known as Ryder Services and Ryder Sound Services.
