Description
This collection houses a variety of government documents, papers, photographs, business records, scrapbooks, ephemera, and other pertinent information regarding a variety of topics related to the political career of Harlan Hagen.
Background
Harlan Hagen (b.1914 - d.1990) was born in North Dakota. His family moved to Southern California where he attended high school and community college. In 1936 he received his A.B. Degree from the University of California, Berkeley. In 1940 he received a law degree (L.L.B.) from U.C. Berkeley. After college he served in the United States Army (1943-1946).
