Joe Laurie Jr. (1892-1954) was an American vaudevillian, writer, and radio and Broadway performer. Collection includes binders
of "Bits," scripts, radio and television broadcast transcripts, and joke indexes written by Laurie from 1940-1953. Also present
are correspondence, publication clippings, and drafts of Laurie's memoir
Vaudeville: From the Honky-Tonks to the Palace (1953).
