Scope and Contents
This collection consists of newsletters, journals, publications, magazines, and other materials. The archive includes: 14
issues of Sexual Freedom (first 2 issues as quarterlies, the rest issued monthly, 1969 - 1973); 15 issues of the monthly Newsletter
(1969 - 1974); 2 pamphlet publications: Statement of Position (no date); and Love, Inc. Vol II, No. 3 (no date); an issue
of Tiger magazine (Summer, 1968), with a 1 page interview with Robert Kerr, regarding the SFL; ACLU News, which has an article
on Jefferson Poland and the S.F. State college suspension case regarding the Open Process newspaper; an issue of the East
Bay Sexual Freedom League newsletter (ca. 1966); a mimeographed notice (8.5 x 11") listing upcoming SFL events (September,
1965); issue #1 of "In Tight" with a 2 page photo spread: 3 photos from an SFL event; an SFL "Love Thy Neighbor" button; an
issue of Screw (No. 97, January 11, 1971 pg. 14): Jim Buckley's interview with Tom Palmer, the Head of the SFL; an issue of
Damn Right! It's Dynamite #14 (with a 2 page question and answer article, regarding sex, and the SFL); 2 issues of the San
Francisco Ball: #4 (1970) with a 4 page interview with Frank and Margo Rila; and #8, with 1 page interview; 3 mass market
paperback: (1) Olympia Press edition of The Records of The San Francisco Sexual Freedom League (1971); (2) The Erotic Crusader

Open for research. Note that material must be requested at least 36 hours in advance of intended use. Audiovisual & born-digital
materials are not available in original format, and must be reformatted to a digital use copy.
