Biographical / Historical

Alan Edgar Fisch (1928-2015) received a BA in Business, Radio, and Cinema from the University of Southern California in 1951. He was later president of the Lawrin Lamp Company.

Scope and Contents

This collection contains scripts for more than 120 various episodes from approximately 20 radio shows broadcast by CBS in 1945 and 1946. The scripts were collected at the time by Alan Fisch (1928-2015), a student at the University of Southern California who also had a part time job at CBS. Some of the scripts have the handwritten name of a supporting cast member. The original file folders that held the scripts are located at the end of each corresponding box. An outdated index and box labels, as well as some CBS letterhead are at the end of the collection (Box 5, Folder 15).
