published works, course materials, pamphlets, and collaborated publications. Dr.
Flora Ortiz was a Professor of Institutional Leadership Policy Studies for the UCR
Graduate School of Education, from 1972 to 2004. Her research focus was mainly
centered on school careers, women and minorities in school administration, and
school superintendence.

Flora Ida Ortiz was a Professor of Institutional Leadership Policy Studies for the
UCR Graduate School of Education from 1972 to 2004. Her major teaching and research
focuses were centered on school careers, women and minorities in school
administration, school superintendents, educational facility construction, and
socialization processes. Ortiz was also the program supervisor for many Ph.D., M.A.,
and Administrative Services Credential students.
