Mazer Lesbian Archives , the UCLA Center for the Study of Women (CSW) , and the UCLA Library . These collections expand the pool of primary source materials available to researchers and to the community at large. This partnership was initiated by CSW and is funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) to inventory, organize, preserve, and digitize more than eighty Mazer collections pertaining to lesbian and feminist activism and writings.

This collection contains various unpublished manuscripts and writings from Kary Wind, Lee Lynch, Shirley Gore, Rochelle Dubois and Corinna Radigan as well as materials related to The Coming Out project and correspondence between authors such as Lyndall McCowan (who was also a member of the Daughters of Bilitis) and Barbara Grier.

Includes correspondence between Lyndall MacCowan and Barbara Grier (co-founder of the Naiad Press), concerning young lesbian organization and a study guide for the audio cassette "On Being Gay" recorded by United Presbyterian Church, 1973. MacCowan was an active member of the San Francisco chapter of the Daughters of Bilitis.
