Contains account books, detailed inventories and summary accounts of Carter buildings, furniture, tools and materials stored at Newark shops and statements of labor.
A.L. Sunderer was an architect and draftsman working in the areas of Newark and modern day Fremont at the turn of the century. Sunderer worked for a time as a draftsman for Carter Brothers, a pioneer car manufacturer on the Pacific Coast.
