    Administrative History

Sherry-Lehmann Wine & Spirits is a fine wine and spirits retailer based in New York City. The company was established in 1934 by Jack Aaron, who was joined by his brother Sam in 1935. Their business, Sherry Wine & Spirits, was named after its first home, the Louis Sherry building on Madison Avenue. In 1965, the Aaron brothers purchased a competing business founded by Morris Lehmann, thus becoming Sherry-Lehmann Wine & Spirits.
