Abstract: The collection consists of the personal papers of Reverend Shuichi Thomas Kurai (1947-2018), a Zen Buddhist priest who also
taught Japanese taiko music classes at UC Riverside for 20 years and was a performer in Southern California. Materials in
the collection include photographs, promotional materials, posters, personal papers, and other documents related to Zen Buddhism
and taiko performance and teaching.
