David W. Augsburger (August 14, 1938 - 2023) served as Dean of Fuller Seminary's Graduate School of Theology for the 2000-2001 academic year. He taught at Fuller Seminary as a professor of Pastoral Care and Counseling from 1990-2018. Augsburger's research expertise includes pastoral counseling, inter-personal relationship, theology, reconciliation, and cross-cultural dialogue specifically between Islamic and Christian religious communities. The David Augsburger Papers consist of Dr. Augsburger's School of Theology administrative records, personal research notes, photocopies, clippings, and teaching materials.
