Abstract: Jim Cartwright, aka Jim e Sparkle Pants, is a San Francisco-based poet and musician. The collection consists of two poetry
chapbooks. His MFA thesis, "Sucking Bananas" (circa 1988, Blue Mountains Ticking in the Laundry Press) and "The Rosebud Diaries"
(1999, Sweet Puddle Press). The former also contains songs and performance pieces; the latter is accompanied by additional
photographs. There is also a cassette audiotape of “Sucking Bananas.”
