The collection consists of items related to the writings and career of American author Lewis Shiner, a fiction writer known especially for his work in the science fiction and cyberpunk genres. Materials in the collection contain manuscripts, story drafts, correspondence, artwork, and notebooks produced during the creation of Shiner's novels, short stories, and comic books, including both published and unpublished works.
