Biographical / Historical
Benjamin Gershman (1907-1995) was a television writer and member of the Writers Guild of America. He wrote scripts for many
television series from the 1950s through the 1970s including "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet."

Scope and Contents
This collection contains scripts chiefly for the radio and television series "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" received
from television writer Ben Gershman (1907-1995). Materials consist of scripts for 1 episode of the radio program "Hollywood
Star Preview" (1948); 17 episodes of the radio program "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet (1947-1952); and 8 episodes of
the television program "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" (1952-1955). There are also 18 scripts for dialogue cutting continuities
for the television version of "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" (1952-1953).
