Description
This collection is comprised of material amassed by Jazz author and San Francisco Traditional Jazz Foundation co-founder Jim Goggin. The bulk of the collection contains correspondence between Jim Goggin and Smithsonian Music Curator James Weaver (1938-2020). It also contains business cards of Jazz musicians collected by Goggin and a quarter inch sound recording.
Background
Jim Goggin (1928-2018) was an author and co-founder of the San Francisco Traditional Jazz Foundation.
