Scope and Contents

Includes a letter dated August 1988 from the Executive Director of the Federation of Community Coordinating Councils of Los Angeles outlining the Federation's vision for the future and detailing efforts to address delinquency prevention. Letter includes a master calendar of scheduled area Community Coordinating Council meetings. Also includes the 1990 Federation of Community Coordinating Council of Los Angeles Awards Luncheon pamphlet.

Scope and Contents

Includes a 21 page publication authored by the Council, outlining ordinances on the Palos Verdes Peninsula affecting minors and juveniles. According to the forward, "the booklet was designed with the hope that it will help the youth, parents, and those concerned with youth to know the law, to abide by it, and to uphold it in all of their dealings with young people."

Calendars for the 1970s pubished under the title, Coordinating Calendar Service. From 1982 to September 1994, the publication is titled, Palos Verdes Peninsula Coordinating Council Newsletter. From October 1994 the publication changed to the Palos Verdes Peninsula Coordinating Council Calendar. The new title incorporated the motto, "Your Community Connection".

Scrapbooks 1958-1979

Scope and Contents

Scrapbooks contain mostly newspaper clippings from the Palos Verdes Peninsula News, the Daily Breeze and other smaller area publications. The 1975-1979 scrapbook also includes copies of agendas, meeting notes, bylaws and calendars.
