    Una Richardson Winter, director of the Susan B. Anthony Memorial Committee of California, collected material about woman suffrage leader Susan B. Anthony and her family.

    Scope and Content

    The collection consists of letters and manuscripts related to Una Winter's efforts in gathering material for the Susan B. Anthony Memorial Committee. Significant persons represented in the collection include Mary Ritter Beard, Carrie Chapman Catt, and Alma Lutz. There are also some letters (1936-46) from various Congressmen to Una Richardson Winter regarding the Equal Rights Amendment.
