    Biography / Administrative History

    Marcus Pete was owner and operator of The Indian Store, a general store on Section 14 of the Agua Caliente Indian Reservation.

    Journal of Marcus Pete with hand-written entries from the year 1937. Measures 4.5" x 7" x 1", red canvas hardcover binding and labeled National Diary 1935. Content chronicles his trip to Washington DC in support of land allotments, accompanied by Thomas Sloan.
