and labeled National Diary 1935. Content chronicles his trip to Washington, D.C. in support of land allotments; accompanied
by attorney Thomas Sloan.
Background
Marcus Pete was owner and operator of The Indian Store, a general store on Section 14 of the Agua Caliente Indian Reservation.
