Description
The President’s Advisory Council on Executive Organization (PACEO) is commonly referred to as the Ash Council. It was established
to conduct a review of the organization of the executive branch and to recommend changes which would alleviate problems arising
from overlapping jurisdictions and improve the effectiveness of the government departments in carrying out the administration’s
domestic programs.
