Ledger containing meeting minutes and details of loans of the Southern California Loan Association, 1899-1904. The minutes
record the business activities of the Association, which met monthly, sometimes more frequently if a loan request was made.
It also records the annual issuance of stock and grant loans, which ranged from $400 to several thousand dollars for new construction
and the purchase of property; some of these loans were made to women. The ledger also includes five pages that list all of
the shareholders and the number of shares each possessed. The ledger includes some tipped in documents.
