Scope and Content of Collection
The collection includes performance clothes worn by porn star Scott O'Hara when he performed in sex clubs. Included are his
tall, lace-up leather boots. Manuscript materials include ephemera and promotional materials about O’Hara, his address book,
an interview with him and copies of five journals. Journal 1: “Why I Don’t Want a Lover: A Melodrama in Seventeen Actors,”
October 27, 1991 to December 25, 1994; Journal 2: “What Good Is a Lover,” January 2 to December 31, 1995; Journal 3: “The
Only Good Lover Is a Dead Lover,” January 3 to December 31, 1996; Journal 4: “Notes from Beyond,” January 1 to 31, 1997; and
Journal 5: “Twelve Things to Do with a Dead Lover,” January 1 to February 16, 1998. O’Hara died on February 18, 1998. There
is also a print of Beim Gorlitzer Bahnhoff, by Ulrich Krumsieg, videotapes of news programs and a copy of In This Morning
