Content Description

This collection contains two letters, and approximately 11 postcards written to Beverly D'Ambrosio by 11 US service members during the Afghanistan, and Iraq War.

The letters and postcards predominantly contain messages of gratitude for D'Ambrosio's letters and care packages sent to soldiers serving during both the Afghanistan, and Iraq War. This collections contains materials sent by the following US service members:

The last items in this collection were sent by MAJ Gustafson to D'Ambrosio in an envelope postmarked February 28, 2007. This envelope contained a postcard dated January 7, 2007 in which Gustafson thanked D'Ambrosio for the gifts she sent to the local children. Attached to this postcard is one printout of a photographic collage containing eight photographs.
