Letters and papers of the Stanley family, earls of Derby, related to the Egertons through the marriages of Lord Chancellor Egerton to Alice, Dowager Countess of Derby (widow of Ferdinando Stanley, the 5th Earl) and of John Egerton, afterward 1st Earl of Bridgewater, to Frances Stanley, one of the three daughters and co-heirs of Ferdinando.
