Scope and Content of Collection
The first half of the album shows car washers at West Oakland, California on January 12, 1948 on opening day. The locomotives
for the streamliner "City of San Francisco" are shown going through the washer. The second half of this album are of the
Los Angeles car washers and are dated between May 6, 1948 and October 31, 1949.
This album was professionally prepared for presentation at an offical meeting.
