This collection contains materials collected by Patrick McGonigle, who was crowned Emperor XV of the Imperial Court of San Francisco in 1987. McGonigle moved to San Francisco in 1977 and was active in a number of organizations including the Castro Lions Club, the Coits, political groups formed to defeat Propositions 6 and 64, and the Imperial Court.
