Processing of the Terry Carr collection on Science Fiction fandom was completed by undergraduate students from the University of California, Riverside as part of the Special Collections & University Archives Backlog Processing Project started in 2015. This project was funded by the UCR Library and administered by Andrew Lippert, Special Collections Processing Archivist.

Collection Scope and Contents

This collection of science fiction professional and fandom materials documents the world of science fiction during several decades of the middle and later part of the 20th century in the United States. Materials relate to fan organizations and community groups, fanzines, various amateur presses of the period, specifically the Fantasy Amateur Press Association (FAPA), nomination forms and election ballots for both fan and professional organizations, as well as mailings, fliers and correspondence.
