Scope and Content

262 photos in an album compiled by an American serviceman at Danang Air Base, South Vietnam, 1966-1969. (label on inside cover: "Photos of Danang and Area Cover Period of 1966, 1967, and 1968.")Most photos illustrate activities and scenes on base. Many photos of aircraft. Also included are photos of visits by then U.S. Vice President Hubert Humphrey, U.S. General Westmoreland and Nguyen Cao Kỳ, Vietnamese general and political leader. There are also a number of photos of a USO tour featuring Nancy Sinatra and other performers.
