Collection of correspondence, vouchers and a journal (SAFR 13570, HDC 24) is comprised of correspondence to Magoun & Sons of Boston reporting on voyages of their ships, vouchers for gold and clipper cards, and a journal kept by F. H. Dupont on his voyage from New York to San Francisco on the DAVID CROCKETT in 1859. The entire collection spans the years 1849-1868. The correspondence are written from San Francisco to Magoun & Sons in Boston regarding their ships, cargo, and accounts. The correspondence dates span 1849-1858. Two vouchers from Honolulu one for money to paid to Captain Kelly aboard the PRESIDENT dated 1868 and the second is an exchange for $225.55 to be paid to C.L. Richards & Co. for supplies furnished at port for the bark Endeavor. Journal kept by D.H. Dupont aboard the DAVID CROCKETT on his voyage from New York to San Francisco in 1859.
