The collection contains convention documents and discussion bulletins regarding the League for Socialist Action/ Ligue Socialiste
Ouvrière (LSA/LSO).
The League for Socialist Action/ Ligue Socialiste Ouvrière (LSA/LSO) was a Canadian Trotskyist organization that was formed
in 1961 as a result of the merging of the Socialist Education League and the Socialist Information Center. It originally had
branches in Toronto and Vancouver, and in 1964 a branch was established in Montreal by the name of Ligue Socialiste Ouvrière.
In 1977, the Revolutionary Marxist Group, its Quebec-based counterpart Groupe Marxiste Revolutionnaire, and the LSA/LSO merged
to form the Revolutionary Workers League/ Ligue Ouvrière Révolutionnaire.
