Background
"ANTI-RACIST ACTION-LOS ANGELES/PEOPLE AGAINST RACIST TERROR (ARA-LA/PART), publisher of TURNING THE TIDE, has been fighting
fascism since we began in 1987. Our goal is to help build a movement to uproot and overcome organized, institutionalized and
internalized white supremacy and all forms of oppression and exploitation. We believe that decolonization, ending the ongoing
land theft, genocide, slavery and settler colonial capitalism on which our current destructive state, society and economic
system are based, is the path to building communities of solidarity, resistance and liberation. We must fight for a future
of liberation, justice, freedom, equality and ecologically sustainable co-evolution for the whole planet."
