Abstract: This is one slide of a photograph taken by Sue Nelson of activist Randy Stallings during a trip up Route 1 to Mendocino around 1976. Stallings (1951-1991) was a gay radical faerie, activist and leader. After moving to San Francisco, he served as the tenured president of the Alice B. Tolklas Democratic Club, helped establish CUAV (Community United Against Violence), and worked alongside Mayor Dianne Feinstein.
