Biography
Stanley Donen is an American director, producer, and choreographer. Donen directed some of Hollywood's
most acclaimed musicals including SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS (1954) and FUNNY FACE (1957), and co-
directed ON THE TOWN (1949), SINGIN' IN THE RAIN (1952), and DAMN YANKEES (1958). He received a 1997
Honorary Award from the Academy.
