    Biographical / Historical

    Clark Gable (1901-1960) was an American film actor often referred to as 'The King of Hollywood'. Best known for his role as Rhett Butler in Gone with the Wind (1939), Gable began his acting career on stage, then continued into silent films, and then on to sound features.
