Description
Journal of a New Yorker who travelled around the United States and spent three weeks in San Francisco
Background
Victoria Louise Cavagnaro was born in New York to John and Cresencia Cavagnaro, one of five children. A school teacher, she married banker James F. Cavagnaro in Manhattan, New York in 1909. The couple had four children and lived in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Victoria died in Paterson, New Jersey in 1942.

All requests for permission to publish or quote from manuscripts must be submitted in writing to the City Archivist. Permission for publication is given on behalf of the San Francisco Public Library as the owner of the physical items.
