Description
One ledger and one leather folio containing technical diagrams and written material that may have been answers to tests given
by Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe for machinist apprentices. Test subjects include: Santa Fe locomotive rules, trucks, throttle,
pistons, safety, lettering, axles and crank pin, construction problems, nuts, washers and bolts, brakes, estimating dimensions,
spring dividers, air pumps and other parts of a locomotive.

Copyright has not been assigned to the California State Railroad Museum. All requests for permission to publish or quote from
