Biography

Melvin M. Riddle was an American film publicist and advertising executive active from 1917 to 1956. He was at Famous Players-Lasky from 1918 to 1922; with Grauman theaters from 1923 to 1932; served in various roles involving advertising and publicity at numerous studios, including Fox and RKO from 1933 to 1944; and handled personal publicity for several actors through Foote, Cone & Belding from 1944 to 1956.
