The bulk of the collection consists of agendas, minutes and documentation of issues discussed during meetings of the Lesbian and Gay Advisory Committee to the San Francisco Human Rights Commission, from 1986-1992. The main issues covered within the collection are domestic partnership legislation, AIDS/HIV discrimination, the battle for inclusion of gay/lesbian events and historical information in public school textbooks, and the Catholic Church’s stance on homosexuality.
