Scope and Content of Collection

Contains 1 folder of newspaper clippings of stories announcing plans to open a historical museum at the Nelson Ranch (circa 1973), the original development plan for this project, one binder full of black and white photos of the property from various years 1910-1980, one interpretive history record of the ranch’s history and the various farming methods, and a box of various letters and emails mostly from Yolo County and University of California officials regarding their plans and various property visits, meetings and negotiations.
