Description
This collection consists of Sergio de Benedetti’s typed manuscript of “Memoirs of an Antifascist”, as well as various documents
related to publication.
Background
Sergio de Benedetti was part of the Italian Resistance Movement, Resistenza Italiana, which opposed Nazi Germany and the Italian
fascist regime during World War II. After taking part in the movement, de Benedetti wrote his memoirs and attempted publish
them in both English and Italian in the 1960’s, but was ultimately not able to do so.
